Lead Diagnostic Radiographer - Full Time

Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

The Lead Diagnostic Radiographer will provide patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the radiologists in the Imaging Services Department at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. They will assist in technical aspects, quality control programs and regulatory compliance of the Imaging Department.

1.0 FTE 80 hours per pay period.

All shifts - required experience in general x-ray, CT, mammo, and would be included in rotation for call hours

• Education:
• Shall be credentialed in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible.

• Must demonstrate competence in an Imaging setting for 5 years.

• Must possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Permit to Practice in Radiology.
• Must be flexible for the staffing of all shifts, weekends, holidays, and call duties.
• Must provide proof of Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider) prior to employment and continue to maintain current certification in BLS.
• Complete Mandatory Reporting requirement within 90 days of hire.
• Renew Mandatory Reporting requirements every 5 years.
