Registration/Scheduling

Our Registration/Scheduling department has an opening for a part time employee working approximately 24 hours per week. The Registration/Scheduler is responsible for registering patients, answering incoming phone calls, responds to routine inquiries, serves as a resource person to those seeking information on services provided by hospital/clinics and accurately schedules patient appointments for a variety of departments. Triages phone calls and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate emergent situations and/or cancellations.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular department. Discuss preparations with patient prior to exam. Enters complete and accurate data into the computer system regarding information on the patient, exam and physician. Prior experience in a busy office environment and medical terminology is preferred.

Hansen Family Hospital is a municipally-owned Critical Access Hospital located in the community of Iowa Falls. We provide Hardin County and the surrounding communities with local healthcare services and critical care. We are fully supported by the revenues of the services we provide, as well as private donations from generous contributors throughout Hardin County. We do not take in tax revenues of any kind.
