Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a medical secretary or administrative assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently while managing the calendar for multiple healthcare providers.
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Verifying insurance information and submitting medical claims.
- Answer and manage multi-line phone systems to address patient inquiries, appointment requests, and direct calls to appropriate medical staff.
