Patient Services Representative

Location: Spirit Lake

Avera Health -  - Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients and complete registration including verifying demographics and collecting service payments;
Verify insurance information, obtain authorizations, and secure consents as needed;
Scan pertinent information into patient records;
Answer calls/messages/faxes and route to appropriate departments;
Maintain and manage computer-based appointment scheduling and follow clinic policies;
Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and patients to expedite care and serve as a public relations representative for the physicians
