Clinic Referral Clerk

• Receives and sends patient referral information
• Works with insurance companies for pre-authorizations and benefits and communicates information to patients
• Schedules testing and procedures for referred patients. Functions as Clinic Receptionist as needed

• Mandatory Abuse Reporter certification required within 6 months of hire
• Excellent work ethics, customer service and math skills
• Ability to work with computers and various software programs
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
