Compensation
: $35 to $48 per hour based on experience

Schedule
:
Rotating Monday through Sunday, 8 or 12 hour shifts available

Our skilled nursing facility located in Anita, Iowa is implementing a program that caters to our residents and future residents Pulmonary and Cardiac needs as well as general comorbidities, by strengthening their bodies through exercise and interventions. The ideal candidate will be Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist licensed in Iowa with NBRC accreditation, with 6 months experience in an acute long term or Pulmonary clinic, with a love of servant leadership.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, state and federal guideline, and the department policies and procedures.

• Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.

• Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

• Communicates and complies with the Sweetwater Mission, Vision, and Values as well as the focus statement of the department.

• Complies with State and Federal Guidelines, along with Organizational Policies and Procedures.

• Complies with Health and Safety Standards and Guidelines.

• Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy

• Possesses and Maintains an active CRT or RRT credential and NBRD accreditation

• Current ACLS and BLS Certification
