Central Sterile Processing Tech/Surgical Aide

Full Time - 72 hours per pay period

Kossuth Regional Health Center is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Tech/Surgical Aide to join our dedicated surgical team. In this hands-on role, you'll help keep procedures running smoothly by preparing sterile instruments, supporting surgical teams, and assisting with patient care. • Sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment
• Prepare supplies and instruments for surgical procedures
• Clean and process endoscopes and other reusable equipment
• Support patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
• Assist with patient transport and room turnover
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment
• Maintain a sterile field and follow OR protocols
• Maintain accurate & timely documentation using electronic health records
• Participate in on-call rotation and team-based care

• Nurse Aide Registry certification or Surgical Technician qualifications
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Selected applicant will be required to complete a drug test, immunizations, vaccinations, background check and other health tests.
