As a Clinic Receptionist, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our patients and visitors. This position is responsible for a variety of front-desk duties that help keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and appropriately direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule patient appointments according to clinic guidelines
- Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information
- Enter and update information in the electronic health record
- Create and route patient messages
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Collect patient payments and maintain a cash drawer
- Monitor appointment reminders, incoming faxes, and clinic communications
- Assist with maintaining an efficient flow of patients through the clinic
- Assist with general office duties, supplies, and other responsibilities as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of healthcare experience preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate across departments
- Comfortable working with computers and electronic health records
The position requires a high level of attention to detail and frequent interaction with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Wage Range:$16.01 – $24.02 per hour. Starting wage is based on relevant experience and qualifications.
