Regional Coordinator

The overriding goal of PBS Corp. services is to enhance the autonomy and quality of life of individuals, their families, and others who support them. Regional coordinators are charged with supporting this mission by coordinating all behavior analysis services in their designated region and ensuring that qualified professionals are staffed and trained to serve individuals and ensure that they adhere to processes outlined in the protocol checklist and components of the behavior support plan template.

Regional Coordinators oversee and lead coordination of all services and service providers in their designated region.

In addition to the Regional Coordinator duties listed below, Regional Coordinators must adhere to the description of behavior analysis services that is provided in the behavior analyst service description. This is achieved through the processes outlined in the protocol checklist and components of the behavior support plan template. Regional Coordinators working with PBS Corp. are expected to abide by the policies and procedures set forth by the organization and in accordance with the independent contractor agreement.

Major Duties:
Specifically, Regional Coordinators are expected to engage in marketing and education, recruitment, referral and case assignment, coordination, provide administrative and clinical oversight, and ongoing support to improve the services delivered. Regional coordinators are the conduit for communication between the behavior analysts and assistants working with individuals and their caregivers and central administration. Responsibilities:
Regional Coordinators working with PBS Corp are required to do the following

1. Supervises and leads coordination of all services and service providers in their designated region

2. Adhere to and support PBS Corp.'s policies and procedures, communicating them to contractors, families, funders, and within public venues as needed

3. Communicate with behavior analysts and behavior assistants to determine their availability and limits for accepting clients and concerns affecting delivery of services. Assign behavior analysts and assistants to cases, managing caseloads appropriately

4. Hold quarterly meetings with behavior analysts in region and/or communicate relevant information from the agency through other communication mechanisms

5. Assist behavior analysts and behavior assistants (working with the Lead Behavior Analyst, if assigned) to identify and address any clinical challenges impeding service deliver

y.6. Coordinate referrals for services via all funding sources, making sure plans are submitted appropriately and authorizations are received (and maintained) as needed

7. Serve as a liaison with peer review committees (such as. LRC), support coordinators, case managers, and representatives of funding agencies as needed

8. Monitor completion and uploading of behavior plans, updates, and reports, ensuring timeliness and thoroughness. Use company-wide evaluation tools to assist with regional management

9. Oversee quarterly and/or annual funding source assessments and other required reports, to include ensuring that caregiver surveys are administered, collected, and analyzed at least yearly or as required by funding source

10. Coordinate and meet regularly with Lead Behavior Analyst (if applicable) in the region with activities related to plan reviews, marketing, clinical issues, family issues, analyst support, etc.

11. If a Lead Behavior Analyst is not assigned to the area, review behavior plans and other relevant materials developed by behavior analysts to ensure that protocols are being followed and the interventions are achieving the desired outcomes for individuals and…
