As a Cook C you will support in the preparation of dishes actively during service, along with the rest of the kitchen brigade will carry out the sanitation, reception, arrangement, cleaning, preparation and production of food and all its collateral activities.

Experience:

Experience required in the position minimum of 6 months. Experience in luxury hotel industry (desirable).

Skills:

  • Understand and familiarize with the quality standards and service standards of the hotel.
  • Ability to speak, write and read the Spanish language.
  • Maximum level of integrity and transparency.
  • Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations.
  • Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Work safely, prudently and organized.

Functions and main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the hygiene and arrangement of the work area, materials and supplies prior to any food handling.
  • Understand and assimilate the tasks assigned by the chef in charge.
  • Support in the preparation (Mise en place) assigned.
  • Perform recipes/processes in a disciplined manner and request assistance if there are doubts.
  • Support during food service with cleanliness, sense of urgency and discipline.
  • Support in the arrangement of all food storage spaces.
  • Check that the supplies are in optimal conditions.
  • Have in advance and with the required quality your misen place before the food service.
  • Perform all the opening and closing activities assigned by the chef.
