The Mercure Hotel Köln West, with its 11 meeting rooms, is one of the top conference hotels under Accor. We offer a sophisticated and modern gastronomic concept in our à la carte restaurant, hotel bar, and on the beautiful sun terrace. Our hotel features 191 rooms spread over five floors, along with an indoor pool, fitness area, and sauna.

• Preparation and attractive presentation of coffee break snacks, menus, buffets, and à la carte dishes
• Independent management of your kitchen station
• Support the head chef in organization, ordering, and arranging of goods
• Ensure hygiene and quality standards according to HACCP
• Participate in the development of new dishes and seasonal offers
• Close cooperation and communication with other departments
• Training and mentoring of trainees and employees

• Passion for cooking and a true sense for quality, taste, and presentation
• Completed training as a cook or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in a similar position – you know how to organize and manage a station
• Sense of responsibility, team spirit, and enjoyment in supporting and guiding others
• Structured, clean, and independent working style – even when things get hectic
• Good German skills, English skills are an advantage
