As a Lifeguard at Mandalay Bay, you’ll help create a safe, relaxing, and memorable poolside experience in one of the Strip’s refined resort destinations. With a welcoming smile and attentive service, you will ensure guest safety while setting the tone for exceptional hospitality.

Hourly starting rate: $15.00

• Provide safety by watching over water and deck areas and responding to emergency situations.
• Adhere to company policies and legal requirements regarding the safety, health, and welfare of guests, employees, and property.
• Report all guest and employee incidents or accidents to a supervisor and complete the required documentation.
• Direct guests to key locations, including emergency exits and procedures.
• Proactively greet and interact with guests, assisting with pool‑side needs such as seating, towels, hours of operation, ADA requirements, amenities, directions, and other requests.
• Respond to and resolve guest needs in a timely manner, creatively solving problems and anticipating potential difficulties.
• Manage daily pool set‑up and breakdown, cleaning, linen distribution, and maintain attentiveness to the environment to enhance the guest experience.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Six or more months of prior relevant experience (preferred).
• Experience as a Pool Guest Attendant (preferred).
• Lifeguard experience in deep water, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer, and First Aid Certification (preferred).
