Summary Statement
The Catering and Conference Services Manager oversees all planning and operational aspects of conference groups, acts as a liaison between clients and Resorts World Las Vegas, and coordinates group needs with various departments. Responsibilities include handling group business from sales contract to operations, monitoring room blocks, generating event orders, coordinating event details, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with the sales and food and beverage teams to ensure a successful group experience.
The Associate Meetings Manager will be responsible for developing and contracting small group and convention business across all brands on the Resorts World campus, cultivating new relationships, and managing existing customer relationships. The Manager will foster internal relationships throughout the property to ensure open communication and proper delivery of the customer’s expectations, supporting the company’s financial goals and developing long‑term brand loyalty.
Job Duties
- Participate in site inspections, entertainment, networking events, and training (as assigned), including midweek, evenings, and weekends.
- Meet and exceed quotas and financial goals set by Management.
- Engage independently with cross‑functional teammates to understand group products and services, and how the hotel differentiates itself from competitors.
- Meet or exceed room revenue and food and beverage quotas with small group bookings.
- Provide ongoing evaluation and account analysis on a monthly basis while tracking top producing companies.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of compeer‑producing items, products, and pricing.
- Maintain an account base of business through on‑property customer meetings and identify repeat business opportunities.
- Cooperate with other departments to ensure consistency on all projects.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job‑related operational tasks, review of company documents, etc.
- Partner with the customer to understand needs and meeting objectives, effectively position the property’s unique value proposition, and close business to meet financial objectives.

- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Working knowledge of Delphi and Opera.
- Knowledge of property operations.
- Previous experience in a meeting and convention hotel sales environment.
- Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
- At least 21years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a luxury hotel or convention sales.
- Minimum two (2) years of previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to obtain required licenses.
Work is typically performed in an office environment but may include business travel. The job requires tolerance to varying noise levels, temperature, illumination, and air quality. Employees must perform prolonged sitting or standing, bending and reaching, and transport, push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 30lbs. Eye/hand coordination is required. Employees must comply with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
