Job SummaryFood Beverage Attendant – you play an essential role in supporting the daily operations of the Food Beverage department by taking guest orders, preparing and serving menu items, and ensuring accuracy in point‑of‑sale transactions. You contribute to delivering excellent guest service, maintaining quality and sanitation standards, and creating a clean, welcoming environment for guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellence.
- Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadership.
- Establish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goals.
- Provide clear direction and guidance to staff, ensuring the successful execution of daily assignments, banquet setups, special projects, and cleaning schedules.
- Act as a liaison between stewarding staff and department leadership to address performance, staffing, and operational concerns.
- Coordinate closely with culinary and banquet teams to ensure all equipment and work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support back‑of‑house functions during high‑volume periods and assist with setup and breakdown of events and catering operations.
- Maintain inventory of stewarding supplies and ensure staff are equipped with the necessary tools to perform duties efficiently.
- Monitor sanitation and equipment maintenance, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure compliance with local health regulations.
- Assist leadership and step in during their absence as needed.
- Oversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of experience in stewarding management or a supervisory role in the hospitality industry (preferred).
- Working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, sanitation guidelines, and OSHA/health department standards.
- Experience working within a unionized environment (preferred).
- Proven track record of effective decision‑making under pressure and in dynamic environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to adapt leadership style to support changing business needs and team dynamics.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high‑performing workplace culture.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and drive results.
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
