People Operations Generalist

The People Operations Generalist serves as a trusted advisor and business partner with the Shop Leadership Team in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR plans to support business goals while maintaining a strong employee ownership culture. This role will coach and advise all levels of employees, so they are fully capable and accountable to own, improve and accelerate business results and culture.

• Lead the establishment and implementation of HR programs, particularly in the areas of employee engagement, employee development, wellness, recruiting/selection and training.
• Continuously optimize our work environment to ensure a safe, engaged and productive employee base.
• Promotes a cooperative and harmonious environment that facilitates positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement
• Provides education and assistance to supervisors regarding timekeeping questions, including various forms of employee leave (vacation, FMLA, short term disability, etc.)
• Leads the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, assisting at onsite and offsite hiring events or career fairs, and managing offer letters.
• Supervise the coordination and facilitation of new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Help organize employee events and recognition programs to foster a positive company culture.

• Experience in recruitment/selection, positive employee relations, employee engagement, and learning/development.
• Ability to balance the needs of employee with the needs of the business.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related studies.
• 2+ years HR Generalist experience. Prior experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
