At ATEK Metal Technologies, our HR Coordinator isn't just a desk-bound paperwork role. You'll spend time on the production floor building relationships, getting to know employees and supervisors by name, and helping create a workplace where people feel supported. We're looking for someone who loves connecting with people, staying organized, solving problems, and making a positive difference in the employee experience.
WhatYou'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact and first line of defense for employee and supervisor questions and everyday HR needs — resolving what you can directly and partnering with HR leadership when something bigger comes up.
- Support recruiting in partnership with HR leadership and hiring managers by sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens and interviews, and helping identify great talent.
- Lead onboarding and orientation to ensure every new employee has a positive and successful start.
- Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and confidential files with a high degree of accuracy.
- Coordinate training records, compliance documentation, and other HR administrative processes.
- Assist with employee support activities, such as benefits administration, leave paperwork, and employment verifications.
- Help coordinate employee recognition, engagement initiatives, and company events.
- Keep communication flowing between employees, supervisors, and HR by staying visible, proactive, and engaged throughout the facility.
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, customer service, or a related administrative role.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you can explain a policy, answer questions, and build trust with employees at every level.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Experience with an HRIS or applicant tracking system.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience.
- Experience supporting Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Office-based with regular interaction and presence throughout our manufacturing facility.
- Will have periodic exposure to foundry environment conditions such as dust, heat, fumes, and noise.
- Occasional schedule flexibility to support company events, onboarding, or business needs.
This is a role where you'll be encouraged to build relationships, share ideas, and continue growing your career. Whether you're helping someone through their first day, celebrating a milestone, or finding the right candidate to join the team, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact every day.
We'd love to meet you.
