Why we need you.

As our Human Resources Manager, you will serve as the senior HR leader for the St. Ansgar facility, helping shape a positive, productive, and compliant workplace. This role is instrumental in partnering with leaders across the organization to support employee engagement, retention, workforce planning, and organizational growth. You will bring both strategic insight and hands-on HR expertise to help navigate employee relations matters, drive talent initiatives, mitigate risk, and ensure consistent application of employment practices that support our people and business objectives.

Who

You'll Be Working With.

You will work closely with the General Manager and site leadership team as a trusted advisor on workforce strategy, employee relations, performance management, employment decisions, and organizational planning. You'll also collaborate with Corporate HR on compensation, benefits, compliance, reporting, and company-wide HR initiatives. In addition, you'll provide leadership and development to the Recruiter, Employee Experience Manager while serving as a key resource for employees across the facility

What

You'll Do.
  • Serve as the primary Human Resources business partner to site leadership and management teams.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, corrective action, and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Administer leave of absence programs, accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes.
  • Support compensation and benefits administration, including annual review processes and employee communications.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support retention, engagement, and business decisions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Recruiter, Employee Experience Manager while driving HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Seven or more years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and workplace investigations.
  • Strong experience with performance management and leadership coaching.
  • Working knowledge of leave administration, accommodation processes, and workers' compensation programs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or other multi-shift work environments preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
