Role Description The HR Generalist - Bilingual is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Armstrong, IA. This role is responsible for supporting day‑to‑day human resources activities, including administering HR policies, assisting with employee relations, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and supporting performance management processes. The HR Generalist manages employee benefits and assists with benefits administration, maintains HR records, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and company standards.

This position will also provide bilingual support, helping to communicate policies, procedures, and HR information clearly and effectively to a diverse workforce. The role collaborates closely with managers and employees to foster a positive, inclusive, and safety‑focused work environment.
Qualifications

  • Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience in generalist or similar HR roles.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and best practices, including application and interpretation in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee support.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and another language, such as Spanish) to effectively support and communicate with a diverse workforce.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and ability to maintain confidential HR information.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
