*** Position Summary
** Primm Valley Casino Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the Human Resources Department. This position plays a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, training, and employee engagement initiatives.

The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a trusted resource for team members while helping ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state employment laws, and Nevada gaming regulations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to delivering exceptional internal customer service while supporting the resort's culture and business objectives.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

**** Recruitment & Onboarding
*** Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process.
* Prepare offer letters, background check documentation, and pre-employment paperwork.
* Conduct new hire orientation and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure positive employee experience.
* Ensure all required hiring documents, employment forms, and compliance paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Assist with employment verifications and onboarding follow-up activities.
** Human Resources Administration
*** Maintain accurate employee personnel files and electronic HRIS records.
* Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, wage adjustments, and separations.
* Track employee badges, gaming licenses, certifications, and other required credentials.
* Assist with HR reporting, document retention, and departmental recordkeeping.
* Support payroll by ensuring employee information is complete and accurate.
** Employee Relations & Team Member Support
*** Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and HR programs.
* Assist with employee recognition, engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and special events.
* Support HR leadership with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation.
* Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
** Compliance & Training
*** Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
* Maintain records required by Nevada gaming regulations and licensing requirements.
* Coordinate required compliance training, new hire training, and annual certification programs.
* Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and HR compliance initiatives.
** General Administrative Support
*** Prepare HR correspondence, reports, presentations, and other departmental communications.
* Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, career outreach, and employee appreciation programs.
* Order and maintain HR office supplies and departmental materials.
* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
** Qualifications
* ** Human Resources equivalent experience may be considered.
* One (1) to three (3) years of Human Resources, administrative, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
* Working knowledge of Human Resources principles, employment laws, and HRIS systems.
* Experience in hospitality, gaming, hotel, or resort operations is preferred.
* Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
* Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative HR team.
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
* Ability to move through multiple resort facilities as needed.
* Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
* Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and telephones.
