Role Overview

Our client is building a high-velocity AI capability to rapidly deliver production-ready solutions across its eCommerce ecosystem while also advancing AI-driven analytics, experimentation, and personalization.

This Scrum Master will operate as a shared agile leader across two complementary AI teams:

• AI Rapid Delivery Team (fast-paced, execution-focused)
• eCommerce Analytics AI Team (experimentation and data-driven decisioning)

You will play a critical role in enabling speed, structure, and alignment—ensuring both teams can move quickly without sacrificing quality, coordination, or clarity. This role requires balancing rapid iteration cycles with disciplined experimentation and delivery processes.

• Facilitate all agile ceremonies across both teams (standups, sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming)
• Drive consistent sprint execution and cadence across high-velocity AI initiatives
• Ensure teams can move from idea → build → deploy with minimal friction
• Remove blockers quickly to maintain delivery momentum

• Serve as the connective layer between two interdependent AI teams with different delivery styles
• Align priorities, dependencies, and timelines across product, engineering, and data science
• Enable smooth handoffs between rapid delivery efforts and analytics/experimentation workflows
• Promote visibility into progress, risks, and delivery health across stakeholders

• Continuously evolve agile processes to support rapid AI solution delivery
• Continuously evolve agile processes to support experimentation cycles (A/B testing, iteration, validation)
• Implement lightweight governance that enables speed without creating bottlenecks
• Balance structure vs. agility depending on team needs

• Support cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analysts
• Encourage best practices for working in AI/ML-driven environments with fast iteration cycles
• Help teams manage complexity around dependencies, APIs, data pipelines, and experimentation workflows

• Track and improve delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, sprint predictability)
• Establish visibility into experimentation cycles and release impact
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable feedback loops

• 5+ years of Scrum Master or Agile delivery experience in technical environments
• Proven experience supporting fast-paced, high-iteration product or engineering teams
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience managing cross-team dependencies and shared resources
• Ability to balance structure with flexibility in ambiguous environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience supporting AI/ML, data, or analytics-focused teams
• Familiarity with experimentation workflows (A/B testing, iterative validation cycles)
• Exposure to eCommerce or digital product environments
• Experience working with distributed systems, APIs, or data platforms

• Both teams operate at high velocity without chaos or misalignment
• Rapid Delivery Team consistently ships production-ready AI solutions quickly
• Analytics AI Team runs structured, scalable experimentation and decisioning cycles
• Dependencies between teams are proactively managed and do not slow delivery
