Location:

Jamaica NY (JFK Airport)

This position is full time for 3 months and then part time for 6 months.

Position Summary: The IT Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of technology systems supporting airport concessionaires throughout JFK Airport. This role serves as the technical lead for point-of-sale (POS) systems, payment devices, kiosks, printers, digital signage, and related concession technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of concession technology systems.
  • Manage daily support operations for POS systems, payment terminals, kiosks, printers, and network-connected devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate repairs, upgrades, maintenance activities, and vendor support. Support new store openings, technology refreshes, and concession relocations.
  • Track incidents, service requests, assets, and system documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance to support technicians and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with concession operators, airport stakeholders, and vendors to maintain operational continuity.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading technical teams, projects, or support operations.
  • Experience supporting POS systems, retail technology, hospitality systems, or similar environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving Windows-based systems, peripherals, and basic networking.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification preferred.
  • ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.
  • Experience supporting airport, retail, hospitality, or transportation environments.
  • Experience with Oracle Micros, NCR, PAR Brink, Toast, or similar POS platforms.
