In our insurance sector-specialized technology consulting team in Berlin, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Köln, Stuttgart or Munich, you will advise our clients on topics such as digitalization, system integrations, and the introduction of new technologies. This includes extensive projects like the transformations of Bestand, Schaden, Provision, and In/Exkasso in close cooperation with our Alliance Platform Partners (e.g., Guidewire, FADATA, SAP) or the collaboration with Insur Techs and start-ups for the digitalization and optimization of individual areas of the value chain (e.g., Fraud, Broker Settlement, Customer Communication).

This requires both a professional analysis and the technical implementation. You will take on a variety of tasks:
Expanding your knowledge in the insurance industry regarding structures, processes, and the design of new products From the conception to the final implementation of data-driven insurance strategies, plus consulting and supporting the digital transformation of business processes and structures Collaborating with teams from areas such as Actuarial Science, Sustainability (ESG), Data Analytics, as well as with international working groups to develop innovative solutions using the latest technology elements like Gen-AI Presenting together with your EY colleagues the latest developments and trends of the industry at trade fairs and congresses and using these events to expand your network Working together with our Alliance Partners to develop new solutions to integrate innovative approaches and technologies and better meet the needs of our clients

University degree in Insurance Sciences, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or Business Mathematics and ideally first experiences (completed vocational training, internship, or work-study activities) in the insurance environment Knowledge in the implementation methodology (Agile, Waterfall, PMP, ITIL), experience in Business Process Design and/or in Testing, as well as first knowledge of AI, Data, Insurance Core Systems, and System Architectures Very good communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English Agile:
