RIB Software Solutions Support Expert

RIB-Gruppe is the world leading provider of software solutions for the management of project and enterprise processes in the construction and real estate industry. With more than 60 years of industry experience, we are committed to our goal of making the construction industry the most sustainable and digitized industry of the 21st century, successfully achieving this goal with our customers: "Building Better Together".

Our vision to make construction projects more efficient and transparent through digital working methods has become a reality for our customers in recent years - but we are not satisfied with this: we want to secure the construction industry's leading position for the future!

Our 2,500 employees worldwide enable this; more than 500 of them in the DACH region. As an independent company of Schneider Electric, we offer you national and international career opportunities and meaningful tasks in commercial and technical areas. Be a part of this #ONERIB.

In this role, you are much more than a contact person for support requests: you are an expert, knowledge carrier, and catalyst for the continuous development of internal processes, our software solution RIB Personal, and our high-quality service. Experience with RIB Personal is not a prerequisite; what is much more important is your understanding of commercial processes in the area of construction payroll, payroll accounting, or wage accounting and your ability to combine professional requirements with digital solutions.

We will provide you with the necessary product knowledge for RIB Personal step by step as part of a structured onboarding process.

Your new area of responsibility:

Customer Support & Service

You are the first point of contact for our customers for all questions regarding the software solution RIB Personal. You support them with professional and solution-oriented answers to technical/application-related questions about construction payroll, payroll, and the corresponding software processes.

You analyze and process customer inquiries via telephone, email, and/or the ticket system promptly and professionally.

Together with our customers, you develop (individual) solution possibilities.

In all your activities, you ensure a high-quality and customer-oriented processing of all inquiries.

Technical Analysis & Solution Management

You carry out program tests and remote maintenance for error analysis and problem solving.

You coordinate the processing of complex questions and escalations together with our specialist and development teams.

You recognize potential challenges early and support their sustainable solution.

You document findings and ensure sustainable knowledge transfer.

Teamwork & Continuous Education

You continuously develop your knowledge of construction payroll, payroll accounting, digital processes, and the functions of RIB Personal.

You share your expertise in the support team and support the continuous exchange of best practices.

You work closely with colleagues from support, development, and product management.

You support the creation and maintenance of knowledge databases, documentation, and internal standards.

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in business administration with a focus on finance and accounting or a commercial education/further education with appropriate qualifications.
  • Proven and demonstrable professional experience in payroll accounting. Knowledge of construction payroll is desirable.
  • Understanding of commercial processes and their digital representation in software applications.
  • High IT affinity and interest in digital business processes and modern software solutions.
  • Structured and self-reliant working method as well as the ability to systematically analyze professional and application-related questions.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of direct exchange with customers.
  • Team-oriented working style and openness to new topics and continuous learning.
  • Although the role has a consulting approach, travel readiness is not required.
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1 level) for the focus market in DACH; at least good English language skills (B2 level) for internal communication.

What you can expect from us:

Motivated by our values and vision, we drive the digital transformation for our customers - for a digital, more efficient, and more sustainable engineering and construction industry. "Building Better Together" is more than just a slogan for us. Because you are at the forefront for us, next to our customers. To allow you to fully develop your passion for your tasks, we support you through:

  • A structured start: individual onboarding, organized networking.
  • Goodies like: employee benefits (e.g. corporate benefits), bonuses (e.g. for marriage, birth, anniversary), Schneider Electric stock options, employee events (team events, summer parties, etc.), depending on the location: table football/table tennis table/dogs tolerated, health management (e.g. discounts in the gym, company doctor,…
