JR Buyer​/Expeditor

JR Buyer / Expeditor | $18+ - DOE

Monday - Friday, Day Shift

An established manufacturing company in Pocahontas, IA is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill their long-term temporary JR Buyer / Expeditor opening! The JR Buyer / Expeditor will support purchasing activities and expedite orders to ensure material availability. Individuals with prior administrative or supply chain experience are encouraged to apply!

• Follow up with suppliers on open purchase orders to confirm delivery dates and shipment status
• Act as a support point of contact between the company and suppliers for order-related communication
• Support Manufacturing and Planning teams by addressing material availability concerns
• Update ERP system with accurate supplier commits, delivery dates, and order status notes
• Track and report late orders, shortages, and potential delivery risks
• Assist with resolving basic discrepancies related to quantities, delivery dates, and receipts
• Assist with data entry and maintenance of purchasing information in ERP systems
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree in Business/Supply Chain is a plus)
• 0–2 years of experience in administrative, customer service, logistics, or supply chain support
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to follow-through
• Ability to learn ERP/MRP systems and supply chain concepts
• Must have good attendance and professional accountability

• Pay rate: $18.00/hr+ (Depending on Experience)
• Paid every Friday
