Supply Planning Team Lead

The Supply Planning Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply planning process, ensuring optimal product availability while balancing inventory levels, service targets, and cost efficiency. This role leads a team of supply planners, drives continuous improvement, and collaborates cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planners to ensure high performance and capability building
  • Own the supply planning process, including production planning, inventory management, and replenishment strategies
  • Ensure product availability aligned with demand forecasts and customer service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels, minimizing excess and obsolescence while avoiding stockouts
  • Collaborate closely with Demand Planning to align on forecasts and manage demand-supply gaps
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure feasible and efficient supply plans
  • Identify risks and constraints in the supply chain and proactively implement mitigation plans
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, systems, and tools
  • Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) supply review meetings and provide insights for decision-making
  • Track and report key KPIs such as service level, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, and plan adherence
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in planning systems (e.g., SAP/APO/IBP or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain roles
  • Proven experience leading or supervising teams
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and S&OP
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
