For our air freight pricing team, we are looking for an outcome-oriented Airfreight Pricing Expert (m/w/d) Germany-wide.

These challenges await you:

• You contribute to the development and implementation of the commercial AFR strategy in the country (global, regional, local)
• You ensure that the department has suitable options for prioritization, pricing, and route and solution development, always in close coordination with sales and the airfreight gateway/procurement
• You drive the continuous optimization of processes, also across departments
• You ensure compliance with all compliance guidelines as well as internal and legal requirements
• You also manage the interfaces to the stations, the product, and the global service centers
• You are responsible for competitive pricing and conduct corresponding campaigns
• You develop customer-oriented solutions based on purchasing efforts
• You monitor compliance with global pricing standards
• You analyze, prioritize, and structure incoming RFQ requests
• You work independently in global tenders of the House of Pricing
• You make risk-based decisions at the country level and lead the risk analysis for RFQs
• You provide competitive prices for sales growth at the country level in close coordination with the sales team

What we wish from you:

• Completed training as a merchant (m/w/d) for freight forwarding and logistics services, BA degree or further education in a relevant field desirable
• Several years of experience in air freight pricing and tender management
• Proven understanding of the freight forwarding industry with a focus on operational air freight
• Proven experience in planning "peak season" in the area of RFQ management
• Experience in final price negotiations with air freight customers
• Proven project management skills, good communication skills, and analytical thinking
• Good IT skills (Office 365)
• Good English skills (spoken and written)
