Warehouse Administrator
The Warehouse Administrator supports daily warehouse operations by managing purchasing activities, handling incoming and outgoing transactions, and maintaining accurate records. This role collaborates closely with vendors and internal teams, provides excellent customer service, and uses data analysis to support purchasing decisions while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Handle incoming and outgoing warehouse transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Create, process, and manage purchase orders to support production, purchasing, and procurement activities.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate ordering, delivery, and resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with team members across the company to support warehouse and purchasing operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests.
- Review and analyze data to support purchasing needs and help optimize inventory and procurement decisions.
- Maintain organized records of transactions, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
- Use Microsoft Excel and other basic computer programs to track, update, and report on warehouse and purchasing activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to use basic computer programs and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience or familiarity with production, purchasing, procurement, and buyer-related responsibilities.
- Ability to create and manage purchase orders accurately.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to provide reliable and responsive customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
- Motivated, reliable, and able to take initiative without constant supervision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse, purchasing, procurement, or buyer role is beneficial.
- Comfort working with data to support purchasing and inventory decisions.
- Attention to detail when handling transactions and documentation.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work setting.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a warehouse environment with a standard first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will work closely with operations, purchasing, and other internal teams while using computers and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to support daily activities. The environment is busy and fast-paced, requiring consistent organization and focus throughout the shift.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hawarden, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
