Supply Chain Supervisor

Van Buren County Hospital is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team. This role provides day-to-day supervision and execution of supply chain operations, including linen and laundry services. We are looking for a team player with a strong background in supply chain management who can collaborate effectively with department managers to optimize processes and ensure efficient resource utilization. Experience with the Multiview inventory system is preferred.

Van Buren County Hospital (VBCH) is looking for an experienced and motivated professional to oversee our Supply Chain operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our hospital and rural health clinics have the equipment, supplies, and inventory needed to provide exceptional patient care.

• Responsible for purchasing, inventory control, receiving, and distribution of all hospital supplies
• Leads a small team and collaborates closely with clinical departments to maintain cost-effective, timely procurement

• Supervise daily supply chain activities, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medical and non-medical supplies
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize shortages or overstock situations
• Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and ensure compliance with hospital purchasing policies
• Develop and maintain accurate records, reports, and performance metrics
• Provide leadership, training, and scheduling for supply chain staff

• Previous experience in healthcare supply chain, materials management, or purchasing preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and improve processes
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, or related field preferred
