Shop Technician, AG

7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed.

• Perform in-shop service and repairs at our West Branch, Iowa location.
• Focus primarily on Terragators, Rogators, Spra Coupe, Cat Lexion Combines, Challenger tractors, and other Cat AG products.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.
• Perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.

• Successful completion of a formal technical training program preferred, or 2 years of AG machinery knowledge and experience required.
• Electrical and hydraulic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills needed.
• Basic computer skills, especially with programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and CAT Programs.
• Experience working with parts books.
• Good communication skills and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be a self-starter, and adapt to change.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, including no more than 2 minor violations in the past 3 years and no major violations in the past 5 years.

This position operates in a warehouse/shop environment. May involve walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs. May require wearing safety equipment such as safety glasses. Noise levels are usually moderate to high. May sit at a desk intermittently to answer phones or use a computer. Flexible schedules and occasional travel may be required.
