Engineering Manager

Position Description

Highly automated wood door manufacturing plant seeking a technical leader. Engineering Manager will be responsible for establishing vision and driving execution of facility process and growth initiatives.

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering Team
• Establish plant project priorities and facilitation thereof
• Oversee Development and training of technical skills
• Plan, organize, and execution of facility annual capital plan
• Coordinate with business leaders to establish business goal
• Research, justify, plan, purchase and coordinate installation of processes and equipment
• Support facility business objectives
• Create a work environment with safety as a high priority
• Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to all laws and company protocol
• Create and communicate KPMs to drive improvement and uptime of equipment
• Administration & oversight of Maintenance Management software company wide (MP2)
• Strong understanding and support of continuous improvement
• Plan and oversee facility maintenance operation and finances
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 7+ years relevant experience in engineering role
• Leadership experience
• Experience working with manufacturing and assembly processes; wood industry experience preferred
• Project Management experience
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills
