The Associate Manager, New Site Openings, Semi Service leads a team of Specialists responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing Tesla’s new Semi Service launches. This role ensures consistency, efficiency, and scalability in all site opening operations, while acting as the primary escalation point for blockers and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership capabilities, a strategic mindset, and the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing team across a wide geographic footprint.

This position will work closely with Real Estate, Construction, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure every new location opens on time and operates at the highest Tesla standards from day one to meet the needs of our commercial customers.

This position can be based in Newark, CA;
Austin, TX or Reno, NV.

• Lead, coach, and support a regional team of New Site Opening Specialists
• Manage timelines and resolve critical issues across all new site projects
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end site readiness
• Analyze post-launch performance to drive continuous improvement
• Develop scalable strategies for efficient site ramp-up operations
• Identify trends in site openings and implement systemic solutions
• Own team hiring, onboarding, performance, and stakeholder communication

• 8+ years in program management or field operations, with 3+ years leading teams
• Experience with large-scale service or retail network expansion
• Skilled in managing remote teams and cross-functional initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Smartsheet, and project platforms
• Willingness to travel up to 50-70% in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented, action-driven, and experienced in talent development
