We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Full-Time General Manager to join our dedicated team. As General Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of public transportation in Garfield County. You will provide leadership, strategic planning, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and manage day‑to‑day transit operations in a collaborative, community‑oriented environment.

This full‑time, Monday through Friday position offers a competitive salary range of $81,500–$90,000, along with a generous benefits package. The General Manager works closely with the Board of GCTA, employees, community partners, and public agencies to maintain and grow essential transit services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic planning and leadership of transit operations
  • Financial management, including budgeting and grant management
  • Accounting, payroll, and HR administration
  • Compliance with state and federal transit regulations
  • Collaboration with board, staff, community partners, and public agencies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least three years of multi‑department leadership experience
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Preferred: previous experience in public transportation management
