Planning and supervising the execution of cost‑effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment. Directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance personnel; working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment; and troubleshooting and resolving new or different technical problems regarding equipment.
Responsibilities- Maintain relevant records and ensure OSHA standards and programs are implemented.
- Instruct in the use of personal protective equipment.
- Implement new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.
- Maintain compliance with Process Safety Management Standards.
- Skill development of team members.
- Manage and maintain high‑pressure boiler, compressed air system, hot water generation, and HVAC systems.
- Coordinate team member schedules.
- Handle time and attendance records.
- Hold monthly safety meetings.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Education beyond high school including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses. Completion of the Tyson Level8 ERT program is preferred.
- Experience:
At least3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred; experience with anhydrous ammonia, mechanical refrigeration, completion of Ammonia refrigeration operator1 and2, and Tyson boiler certification. Management experience preferred. - Computer skills:
Elementary computer skills, e.g., checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries. - Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
- Supervisory skills:
Responsible for supervising a group of personnel performing related tasks or activities. - Relocation assistance eligible:
