Senior Supervisor Maintenance

Planning and supervising the execution of cost‑effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment. Directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance personnel; working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment; and troubleshooting and resolving new or different technical problems regarding equipment.

• Maintain relevant records and ensure OSHA standards and programs are implemented.
• Instruct in the use of personal protective equipment.
• Implement new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.
• Maintain compliance with Process Safety Management Standards.
• Skill development of team members.
• Manage and maintain high‑pressure boiler, compressed air system, hot water generation, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate team member schedules.
• Handle time and attendance records.
• Hold monthly safety meetings.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

• Education beyond high school including special training, vocational school, and/or college courses. Completion of the Tyson Level8 ERT program is preferred.
• Experience:
  
  At least3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred; experience with anhydrous ammonia, mechanical refrigeration, completion of Ammonia refrigeration operator1 and2, and Tyson boiler certification. Management experience preferred.
• Computer skills:
  Elementary computer skills, e.g., checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates, or creating simple queries.
• Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
• Supervisory skills:
  Responsible for supervising a group of personnel performing related tasks or activities.
