Business Continuity Manager

You want to use your expertise to ensure that AXA remains capable of action even in challenging times – and keep regulatory standards like DORA, ISO, etc. in view?

As a Business Continuity Manager (m/w/d) in the Chief Security Office at AXA, you are the central interface between departments, the crisis management team, and IT. Here you actively shape how AXA prepares for the challenges of the future – and bring your enthusiasm for Business Continuity Management (BCM), Resilience, and Crisis to the table!

The Chief Security Office consists of two teams – Information & Physical Security and Strategy & Governance. You work as a team member in Strategy & Governance in the Operational Resilience area.

What you can expect:

  • You conduct risk analyses and support departments in creating business impact analyses
  • You create and review business continuity and crisis plans, further develop related guidelines
  • You ensure that all plans meet current threat situations and regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, ISO 22301, BSI 200-4)
  • You train the crisis management team and organize crisis-relevant meetings and workshops, including conducting crisis exercises
  • You monitor and evaluate existing resilience measures and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational resilience
  • You work with other specialist departments from the 1st Line (e.g., ITSCM) and help ensure that the requirements from the 2nd Line can be operationalized

What you bring to the table:

  • You have ideally completed a degree in IT/Information Security, (Business) Informatics
  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience in Operational Resilience / BCM, ideally in the insurance or banking environment
  • You have experience in the practical use of BCM-relevant tools and processes as well as the implementation of relevant regulatory requirements and standards
  • Your analytical thinking and structured way of working enable you to quickly understand and convey complex issues in a comprehensible way
  • You are enthusiastic about working with people, and you routinely coordinate the various external and internal stakeholders across all levels
  • You are motivated to innovate and proactively tackle topics that drive us forward
  • Very good German and good English skills complete your profile
