Under the direction of the Operations Manager, leads a crew in performing inventory, and pack out of customer on site and cleaning of items requiring restoration at the warehouse. Acts as the main point of contact for the customer on-site when the Operations Manager is not present. Ensures all items are properly handled, packed, inventoried and cleaned to Blue Kangaroo Packoutz standards.

Potentially lead a team of up to 8 people.

• Oversee and participate in the inventory, packing and staging of customer items on-site.
• Ensure that adequate supplies are available for the crew when on-site and plan for resupply as needed so that those supplies arrive with no interruption in production.
• Oversee and is responsible for packing items into the company truck.
• Drive the company truck or company vehicle, as necessary, to transport items or workers to the work site.
• Ensure that customer’s items are dealt with in a professional and respectful manner.
• Ensure that the customer’s property is safeguarded and that the work site is left each day in a neat and clean manner.
• Orient and supervise other Blue Kangaroo Packoutz technicians and temporary labor.
• Document and report any damage to customer items to the Operations Manager immediately.
• Ensure all policies and procedures regarding inventorying and tracking items from site into vaults are followed.
• Meet with Operations Manager to discuss staffing and supply needs at each specific job site.
• Manage the flow of merchandise to be salvaged, cleaned, refinished or donated.
• Create and maintain non-salvageable inventory on-site.
• Ensure all safety precautions as recommended by the Operations Manager and Restoration Company are followed.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment requiring maintenance to Operations Manager.
• Report any concerns regarding safety or crew performance to the Operations Manager as soon as safe to do so.
• Oversee and participate in cleaning and restoration of customer items when at the warehouse.
• Utilize checklists to ensure that the truck is properly stocked before going to a job, and that it passes pre-trip checks/inspection.
• Assist Operations Manager in other duties as assigned.

• Construction, restoration, or insurance industry experience would be valuable
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz vehicle policy
• Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles

• Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Access and mobility in tight spaces

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
