BANK REGIONAL RETAIL LEADER POSITION SUMMARY
The Regional Retail Leader is responsible for the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives for the retail team in assigned locations. This position is responsible for driving growth through fostering a positive culture and environment focused on customer needs and employee engagement. The Regional Retail Leader will spend time in all retail locations with an added focus on coaching and sales activities.

BANK REGIONAL RETAIL LEADER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
BANK REGIONAL RETAIL LEADER ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or sales-related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a multiple-location leadership role (banking environment a plus)
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- 6-8 years extensive experience in a comparable position may be a substitute for education
Other Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in typing with speed and accuracy; basic keyboarding skills are required
- Demonstrates a record of positive leadership
- Ability to challenge, train, and motivate a team to achieve high production goals
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to represent the bank in a professional manner when dealing with customers and potential customers
- Ability to interact with internal teams and customers with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality
- Ability to lead a diverse team, monitor employee engagement and foster a positive working environment in the assigned market(s)
- Demonstrate a “lead by example” mentality
- Travel to all retail locations to support communication and coaching efforts and achieve desired results
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for supervising staff in accordance with the bank’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and taking corrective action with employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
