Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Branch manager in all areas of operations to drive growth and profit within the Branch. The following is a list of job duties for an Operations Manager. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assesslocalmarketconditions,identifycurrentandprospectivesalesopportunities, and develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans for the branch.
• Recommenddesirablechangesinthepoliciesandgoalsofthebranchandtheorganization.
• Assistthe Regional and Branch Managerindevelopingbranchandorganizationalobjectives .
• Addresscustomersatisfactionissuespromptly.
• Cooperatefullywiththe Credit Departmentinextendingandenforcingcreditpolicy .
• Achievetheprofitabilitygoals/objectivesofthedivision/branchandorganization.
• Understandoverallaccountabilityforrevenue,margins,mix,andmarketshareobjectives.
• Manageandgrowexistingdistributionaccountsfromanoperationslevel.
• Analyzedatafortrendsanddevelopandexecute“value-added”programs.
• Assistincreatingandimplementingprogramstodrivesalesandimprovemargins.
• Participateinoperationsmeetingsandpreparerequiredreports.
• Workcollaborativelywithareasuppliers,sales directors,and manufacturers’rep organizations.
• Increaseknowledgeofindustryandproductsandmanagementandfinancedisciplines.
• Followcompanypoliciesandprocedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Experience:
  
  Minimum one year in a similar position (4 years preferred). Minimum three years in progressive position (4 years preferred). Product/applications experience required.
