Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician I install, maintains, and repairs mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Works alongside maintenance personnel and machine operators to take in or provide input and suggestions for equipment and tool changes. Communicates down machines and project status with management. Works on teams with hose fabrication team members to provide support for improvements within the facility. Communicates with outside maintenance services and fabricators.
Familiar with email and search engines.
Education required:
Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required. Minimum of two years trade school or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience:
Experience with electrical work, wiring, and welding required.

Organizational Relationships / Scope- Report directly to the Plant Manager
- Work closely with all value stream team leads, shop floor employees, production control, and engineering.
The employee may be subject to:
- High noise levels from operating machines and equipment.
- Physical hazards from being around machines and moving items.
The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
