Job SummaryThe Inventory Control Specialist ensures inventory accuracy through regular audits, system corrections, and root cause analysis. This role supports warehouse efficiency by identifying and resolving discrepancies, accurately consuming materials for Manufacturing Orders, and maintaining proper inventory tracking. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, self‑motivation, and a disciplined approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
A Sample of the Role- Perform physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including system updates and root cause analysis.
- Accurately consume and backflush pallets used for Manufacturing Orders (MOs).
- Conduct routine yard checks to verify trailer conditions, fuel levels, and load status.
- Maintain proper product labeling, identification, and location standards across all inventory items.
- Manage and document aged or damaged products in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse leadership to improve inventory processes and accuracy metrics.
- Work independently to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of inventory experience, preferably in a warehouse setting
- Experience with inventory control or warehouse management systems
- Able to work in cold environments (-10°F to 35°F)
- Lift truck certified or able to obtain certification through training
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Solid problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment

- Starting hourly rate of $18‑20 based on experience ($1.00 shift premium applied to all worked hours)
