Responsible for maintaining inventory, locating material for production orders, and preparing finished stock for shipment.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Maintains in-process inventory.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Participates in ordering or purchasing standard stock items, such as recommending additions or deletions to standard stock items or ordering replenishments within established procedures and limits.
Requirements Qualifications

Education: Current and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate. High school diploma/GED required.

Knowledge and

Skills:

Strong attention to detail.

Previous

Experience:

1+ years’ inventory management experience.

Physical: Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work long hours. This position works outdoors year-round and therefore subject to all weather conditions sometimes to include extreme cold and heat.
