Starting Wage: $19.87/hr
Job ObjectiveTo vapor degrease parts, load, and unload parts from racks, inspect parts and in some cases, package parts.
Duties and Responsibilities- Skill to inspect and hang parts correctly which can be learned on the job.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
- The ability to stay positive with a good attitude and values Trimark’s Core Values.
- Work follows standard procedures.
- To operate a forklift and other machinery in a safe manner.
- To inspect plated parts for quality and appearance based on Tri Mark and customer specifications.
- Perform Startup and Shutdown procedures
- Read and Understand Work Instructions
- Convey information to others effectively
- Quality Standards
- Determine causes of operating errors and find a solution on how to address
- Determine root cause of quality issues & determine solutions or steps to fix
- Determine safety issues as well as safety improvements
Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company’s business demands.
Exposure to hazards of chemicals used in the plating process. The temperature is normal for the season and the area is damp. Noise levels are 80-90.
Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, other devices such as gloves, aprons, and face shields as required for operations. Eating and drinking is prohibited in this area. The plating area requires normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception and peripheral vision of 180 degrees, and no color deficiency. Hearing protection not required but is available.
