PAINTER —
TEMPORARY: 1pm-9:30pm M-F (may train on days) —
WAGE: $23.70/hour

The Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing equipment, machinery, and facility components to meet companys quality, safety, and appearance standards. This role supports plant operations by protecting assets from corrosion, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and priming
• Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications and technical data sheets
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality, thickness, and uniform coverage
• Maintain painting tools, spray guns, and equipment in proper working condition
• Follow safety standards, including proper use of PPE and ventilation systems
• Comply with environmental regulations regarding paint handling, storage, and disposal
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical instructions
• Perform touch-ups, repairs, and re-coating as required
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in industrial or commercial painting preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation, coatings, and spray application techniques
• Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
