The schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday from 4:00pm – 2:30am or until work is completed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.
Responsibilities- Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
- Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds; team lifts or mechanical equipment may be used for commercial tires
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Work at heights up to 25 feet and be comfortable operating equipment at those heights
- Be on the move and able to work on your feet for extended periods; work overtime as needed
- Contribute to a culture of safety by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call, depending on business needs

Physical demands:
The employee must be qualified as to visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequently lift products weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds. Handling of commercial tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) with team lifts or use of mechanical equipment.
Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, safety harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. Auto Force except for steel/composite toe boots. All team members must adhere to safety and manufacturer guidelines for compliant use of protective equipment.
Work environment:
May be exposed to weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants are prevalent.
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment
- 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work at heights of 25 feet while operating equipment and maintaining safety standards
- Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations and manufacturing guidelines
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
