Job Position:
Composite Assembler
Location:
Orange City, IA 51041
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 6AM - 3:30 PM
Description:
Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling parts using hand tools, adhesives, and jigs while ensuring quality and accuracy in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble components following work instructions
Prepare bonding surfaces (sanding, abrading)
Perform light riveting and minor drilling
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications:
Manufacturing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and fine motor skills
Basic math, communication, and computer skills
Self-motivated and able to learn quickly
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs.; frequent bending, pushing, and pulling
Stand or walk for 8-12 hour shifts
Work Environment:
Indoor manufacturing setting (may not be temperature-controlled)
Exposure to noise, machinery, and contaminants
