Quality Assurance Technician

Reports To:

Quality Control Supervisor

Job Summary:

Responsible for daily audits and inspections to assure that all products manufactured meet Feather lite's high quality standards, customer specifications, and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies and interprets print packets.
• Conducts daily inspections and audits.
• Completes all necessary paperwork for non-conforming material and processes.
• Verifies that processes and procedures are followed during the manufacturing process.
• Ensures that all materials received are acceptable for manufacturing process.
• Insures that non-conforming processes and material that are identified, corrected, and removed from the manufacturing process.
• Maintains a safe working environment and strictly follows all Feather lite, Inc. policies and procedures.
• Must cross-train in different manufacturing locations in the Cresco facility.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in the use of all measuring devices.
• Ability to understand and apply basic blueprint theories.
• Microsoft Office suite experience and basic computer knowledge
• Ability to effectively communicate either verbally or in writing to all departments.
• Capable of making immediate, sound decisions.

Potential Exposures:

• Regular exposure to manufacturing environment including noise, dust, and hot or cold temperatures.
