Production Supervisor 3rd Shift

Reports to - Production Operations Manager

• Holds safety in high regard, follows all safety rules for food, equipment, and general operations. Takes responsibility for own safety by acting in a safe manner at all times. Takes responsibility for the safety of their team by calling out unsafe behavior on the spot.
• Is accountable for compliance with all food safety programs including HACCP and BRC. Will interact with Quality Assurance to resolve any product issues that involve any aspect of the production facility.
• Actively participates in and acts as a champion and leader for the LEAN management program, striving to increase efficiency and eliminate waste.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Direct and manage shift operations for production. Ensures that adequate resources are available to safely and effectively complete the production schedule.
• Coordinate shift activities with all departments to ensure company objectives are achieved in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Accountable for varying number of direct reports. Must manage employee training, daily work flow, productivity, supervision, discipline, motivation and performance of all employees on shift.
• Provide leadership and training to achieve company goals in safety, performance and profitability.
• Provide clear communication as needed to support new and current business opportunities.
• Ensure that the production areas are up to company standard on a daily basis, including but not limited to daily cleaning and inspections and audits.
