Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift
Location:
Harlan, IA
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per year

- Supervise and direct hourly production line workers across the assigned shift
- Plan, organize, and execute daily production schedules; manage line changeovers and downtime
- Own daily production reporting, yield performance, and labor cost accountability
- Ensure compliance with USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and internal quality control standards
- Conduct pre‑shift safety inspections of work areas
- Process hourly payroll, vacation, and PTO; communicate scheduling needs to the Operations Manager
- Drive continuous improvement in throughput, methods, and working conditions
Maintain accurate digital and paper reporting and distribute to appropriate stakeholders
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
- 3–5 years manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel)
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus - Ability to work in a cold/wet environment; lift 30–90 lbs intermittently; flexible schedule required
