Education and/or Experience
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Post‑high‑school tooling/machining program preferred.
- Good organizational skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in computer operations.
- High integrity and honesty.
- Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, diagrams, requirements and business correspondence.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts as appropriate.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Knowledge of safe and proficient use of lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and saws.
- Proficiency in bench repair, assembly, machinery upkeep, layout, die repair, inspection, press troubleshooting, tooling design, quality control, die/fixture building, welding and heat‑treating.
