SummaryAssemble finished products and/or other work as directed by Lead Person or Supervisor. Having basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical aptitude is helpful. Able to read blueprints, and various types of measuring devices. Basic computer skills are a plus but not necessary.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Perform all aspects of the assembly area, working with other employees as part of a team, and be prompt and on time daily for work.
- Take direction from area supervision to complete orders in a timely manner.
- Read work orders and understand technical documents required for the job.
- Become efficient with mechanical equipment and learn all aspects of the job as required.
- Demonstrate a productive and non‑disruptive work ethic.
- Minimize scrap or rework, and continually improve quality.
- Follow all company safety rules and other company policies.
- Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Operate all proper tooling and other equipment as specified to fulfill basic job requirements.
- Consistently strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior assembly experience.
- Ability to read blueprints/work orders.
- Basic manufacturing background and mechanical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Exceptional attendance.
- Can climb ladders, sit or stand as required for job tasks.
- Can lift a maximum of 50 lbs. at times as required by the job.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Position requires standing on a concrete floor during the majority of the shift, excluding break times.
- Must lift or push up to 50 lbs. and lift objects from floor to waist level (48”).
- Can reach or grab parts up to 10 lbs.
- May need to climb ladders (~5’).
- Must be able to crouch, squat, and kneel.
- Good hand dexterity and balance required to operate all equipment.
- May require a minimum amount of crawling.
- Daily use of all five senses to maintain safety for the team and self.
