Job Opportunity

We are looking for an Addetta/o alle Laverie, or a production and raw material preparation machine operator for the White Area, within the Manifattura Ginori 1735 in Sesto Fiorentino (FI). You will report to the Manufacturing Coordinator of the white product production area, within the Operations Ginori 1735 team.

How You Will Contribute:

• You will be responsible for the preparation of the semi-finished products necessary for the production of the white product (barbottines, pastes, supports, and varnishes), based on the recipes and specifications for the production of Ginori 1735 porcelain.
• You will use and operate the appropriate systems and machinery, including weighing systems, milling machines, dissolvers, filter presses, extruders, and storage tanks.
• You will manage, control, and monitor the production equipment, ensuring their correct operation and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• You will plan and schedule the production activities based on the delivery requests of the semi-finished products to the production departments.
• You will manage the Raw Material Warehouse, taking care of: loading into the system based on the arrivals of raw materials; withdrawals according to the recipes and planned preparations; and inventory operations and checks.
• You will be responsible for the replenishment to the manufacturing departments of the White Area (Casting, Press Coating, Roller Plants, Glazing), ensuring continuity in the production process.
• You will perform quality control activities and tests on the pastes, in order to guarantee compliance with the Ginori 1735 quality standards.
• You will actively collaborate with other company functions involved, including other colleagues in the White Area manufacturing, the Stock Warehouse, the Laboratory, and the Quality Office.

Who Are You:

• You have experience with production systems and/or lines, preferably in the preparation of pastes and semi-finished products from raw materials.
• You are punctual and have a high sense of responsibility.
• You are capable of organizing your work independently to meet the requests effectively.
• You have a good attitude towards problem-solving.
• You are precise and have constant attention to quality.
• You collaborate proactively with others.
